A Frame For Your Vision

For me, the shot is the only thing that matters. The right shot can capture the imagination, can change the narrative, make you long for something, miss something, dream of something, explain something, teach something, define a brand, shape an opinion, create a memory. 

It’s both light and frame that create great shots. Light, an energy that travels in the form of electromagnetic waves at incredible speeds, reveals as it moves in a completely straight line producing energy and power. 

Frame is the decision of what part of the light to preserve and how it should be viewed.  The right combination of these elements are the tools I’ve used my whole career to capture and create compelling stories. 

Thats what I do. I control and capture light in a perfect frame for the purpose of telling stories.  It’s the stories that matter. Whether it’s creating them or documenting them, it’s what is most exciting about this industry. Stories are what drives our creativity and what gives us purpose. They help us relate to each other, define our heroes, remember, imagine, document, and define our brands.
